LOVSUNS TUNNELING CANADA LTD
Lovsuns Tunneling Canada Ltd (Lovsuns) is a 100 percent owned company of Liaoning Censcience Industry Co., Ltd (LNSS) of China.
Lovsuns work out of the original Lovat Inc. facilities in Toronto, whereby they will be responsible for the operation of the manufacturing and engineering facility and will assume the strategic role of LNSS’s overseas engineering, manufacturing and sales/service centres. The acquisition included all the intellectual property, designs, engineering and manufacturing knowledge of not only Caterpillar Tunneling Canada Corporation (CTCC) but also of Lovat Inc., whom CTCC purchased in 2008.
The types of TBMs that Lovsuns will be offering are:
- Earth Pressure Balance TBMs
- Slurry and MixShield TBMs
- Single Shield Rock TBMs
- Double Shield Rock machines TBMs
- Pipe Jacking Machines
LNSS is a large TBM manufacturer company based in the north-east of China, with one of the largest TBM manufacturing capacities in the China. LNSS has an annual manufacturing capacity of up to 50 separate TBMs – with 8 separate production plants all within its one facility. LNSS’s sole focus is TBM manufacture, delivery and support to the World Tunnelling Market. In the beginning of 2014, LNSS successfully purchased all the assets and intellectual properties of Caterpillar Tunneling Canada Corporation from the Caterpillar Group, including the original Lovat factory in Carlingview Ave, Toronto.
