In 2017 SIMEM S.p.A of ITALY backed the formation of SIMEM UNDERGROUND SOLUTIONS, base in Abbotsford, BC, Canada by compiling a highly experienced group of designers and engineers with many years of experience in the mining and tunnelling industries. SIMEM provides fully-automated material handling systems backed by quality service and parts and specializes in the design and supply of cemented aggregate backfill plants, pastefill plants, slurry and bi-component grout plants as well as long distance pumping systems. SIMEM Underground Solutions develops concepts tailored for each project and has in-house mechanical and controls engineers including technical field personnel with experience ranging from project design through to final commissioning and operator training.
