Cooling System for TUNNELING Operations

COGEDE has been established in 1986 by Mr. Valerio Ciacci in Fano, Italy. The main reason that drove Mr. Ciacci to setup the company was an important environmental protection demand through Wastewater Treatment & Sludge treatment from the Italian Industries & Municipal Councils. For this reason Cogede for many years  has started to produce and develop Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). 

During the operation of the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) water is used in order to cool the the TBM. The water used for cooling is in a close circuit by pumping water through a cooling circuit of the TBM cutter-head and motors, the water then comes goes into a water storage tank. During the cooling operation the temperature of the water increases and for this reason it is necessary to use a cooling system that allows the water temperature to remain at the right level in order to avoid any problems  for TBM. For this reason Cogede design, produce and supply  cooling systems for TBM
